Overview
Clasier (clasier.pub) is a publishing company that turns manuscripts, content libraries, and even raw ideas into finished, market-ready books. It has helped 150+ leaders publish and grow their influence. I redesigned and rebuilt their website: designed in Figma and built as a Next.js + Node.js application, self-hosted on infrastructure the team controls. The aim was a site that reads as premium and authoritative, as credible as the books it produces, while making the path from “I have an idea” to “get started” unmistakable for authors at any stage.
Challenges
Clasier sells a high-trust, high-touch service to would-be authors staking their reputation on a book, so the site had to feel as polished as the outcome it promises. It also had to speak to people arriving at very different stages (a finished manuscript, a pile of content, or just a spark of an idea) and make each of them see a clear way in, all on a fast stack the team could self-host and own.
Design
- Author-first brand: A refined editorial look, with large serif headlines and a showcase of published titles, that signals authority and makes the finished book the hero.
- One clear path to start: Structured the journey around the core promise of telling your story, with an unmistakable Get Started route so every visitor has an obvious next step.
- Service clarity: Laid out the full offering (from manuscript to cover, production, and launch, plus a Knowledge Hub) so a broad, full-service process reads as one coherent journey.
Build & deployment
- Stack: A Next.js front end with a Node.js back end, implemented from Figma designs.
- Self-hosted: Deployed with Dokploy on a Webuzo VPS, set up to run this and other sites on infrastructure the team owns, keeping sensitive data in-house.
Results / Conclusion
A revamped Clasier site that looks as credible as the books it produces: presenting the full journey from manuscript to published title, giving every visitor a clear way to start, and running on a self-hosted stack the team fully controls.
